Central streets and port facilities follow the waterfront's long curve. Inland roads branch away from that coastal axis and thin toward the edge of the urban area.

A 3.5 kilometre radius includes central Libreville and its frontage on the Gabon Estuary. Port roads and the main coastal axis run parallel to the water through the frame.

Give the estuary a broad unprinted edge and set the parallel port roads in dark green. Finer inland branches can fade into a pale ground away from the waterfront.
