The rules that govern your use of Inkroads. Read them before using the service; continued use means acceptance.
Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using Inkroads (“Service”), operated by Inkroads (“Company,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of service (“Terms”). If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not use the Service.
We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. We encourage you to review these Terms periodically.
Description of Service
Inkroads is a web-based service that allows users to generate customized map posters based on geographic locations. The Service uses map data from OpenStreetMap to create visual representations of selected areas.
The Service includes both free and premium features. Free users receive a limited number of generation credits per month. Premium subscribers and credit purchasers gain access to additional themes, fonts, poster sizes, and other features as described on our pricing page.
User Accounts
To use certain features of the Service, you must create an account. You are responsible for:

- 02Maintaining the security of your account credentials
- 03All activities that occur under your account
- 04Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized access
You must be at least 13 years old to create an account. By creating an account, you represent that you meet this age requirement.
Payment Terms
4.1 Subscriptions
Premium subscriptions are billed on a recurring basis (monthly or annually) at the rates displayed at the time of purchase. Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled before the renewal date.
4.2 Account Balance and Credits
Gift-card balances, referral rewards, creator earnings, and promotional credits may be applied to eligible purchases. Unless required by law, account balances and promotional credits are non-refundable and cannot be redeemed for cash.
4.3 Digital Downloads
Poster downloads are digital goods rendered after purchase. Due to the nature of digital products, all sales are final and non-refundable once the download is made available. By purchasing a poster download, you acknowledge that you are purchasing a digital product and waive any right of withdrawal upon delivery.
4.4 Physical Prints
Physical prints are produced and fulfilled by our third-party print partner, Prodigi. All physical print orders are final and non-refundable once submitted for production. Due to the custom, made-to-order nature of printed products, we cannot accept returns or exchanges. If you receive a defective or damaged print, please contact us at [email protected] within 14 days of delivery and we will work with our print partner to resolve the issue.
4.5 Refunds
Subscription fees, credit purchases, digital downloads, and physical print orders are non-refundable except where required by law. If you experience technical issues preventing poster generation, your credit is automatically refunded. For defective physical prints, contact us at [email protected] within 14 days of delivery. For other issues, please contact us and we will work to resolve the issue or provide appropriate compensation.
Intellectual Property
5.1 Your Content
You retain ownership of any posters generated using the Service. By using the Service, you grant us a limited license to store and process your content as necessary to provide the Service.
5.2 Map Data
Map data used in the Service is sourced from OpenStreetMap and is subject to the Open Database License (ODbL). Generated posters include attribution to OpenStreetMap contributors as required by this license.
5.3 Our Content
The Service, including its design, features, themes, fonts, and software, is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or reverse engineer any part of the Service without our written permission.
Prohibited Use
You agree not to:

- 02Attempt to bypass or circumvent access controls or usage limits
- 03Interfere with or disrupt the Service or its infrastructure
- 04Use automated systems to access the Service without permission
- 05Sell, resell, or exploit the Service for commercial purposes without authorization
- 06Impersonate any person or entity
- 07Upload or transmit malicious code
- 08Violate the rights of others
Termination
We may suspend or terminate your account at any time for violation of these Terms or for any other reason at our discretion. Upon termination:

- 02We may delete your account data
- 03Unused credits will not be refunded
- 04You remain liable for any outstanding charges
Disclaimer of Warranties
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR SECURE.
We make no guarantees regarding the accuracy of map data, as it is sourced from third-party providers. Generated posters are for personal and decorative use; we do not warrant their suitability for navigation or other technical purposes.
Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, INKROADS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.
Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Inkroads and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from your use of the Service or violation of these Terms.
Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be resolved in the courts located in the United States.
